| At the center of the Fengxian district, Shanghai Fengxian Modern Agricultural Park is one of the 4 first municipal-level modern agriculture parks approved by Shanghai municipal government. It has an area of 18.49 square kilometers.
The park is structurally divided into 3 functional zones including a agriculture comprehensive processing zone¡ªan enterprise incubation zone, a high-tech demonstration zone and an advanced zone for ecological agriculture --6 square kilometers ecological wood construction.
Natural Conditions: Shanghai Fengxian Modern Agricultural Park has plane land with average elevation of the earth¡¯s surface about 4.2-4.5 meters and the sub-tropically marine monsoon climate which feature in warm temperature, sufficient sunshine, distinct season and abundant rainwater. The annual rainfall is 1201.9mm; frost-free period 230 days; the average temperature is about 15.5¡æ; the annual sunshine is 1941.9 hours. The soil is neutral with pH value 6.45.
