|  Located on the bank of Dianshang Lake in west suburbs of Shanghai, Jinze Town covers an area of 0.6 square kilometers. There used to be 42 rainbow bridges in the town, but now still 7 ancient bridges have been preserved. ItĄŻs a famous bridge town in the region south to the Yangtze River.
Puji Bridge in Zhennanshi is a sole-arched bridge of purple stones. It was built in Xianchun Period of Song Dynasty and is the oldest bridge in Shanghai.
There is a sole-arched black stone bridge several meters to the south of Puji Bridge. ItĄŻs named Animal Freeing Bridge. Its steps are very tidy and the stone railings are very solid. Viewed far away, it looks like flying and moving.
Ruyi Bridge is located 50 meters south to Animal Freeing Bridge. ItĄŻs the most solid, complete and beautiful stone arched bridge in the existing old bridges.
Walking southward, you can see Yingxiang Bridge which was built in Yuan Dynasty Zhiyuan Period. ItĄŻs a six-pillar and five-arch bridge made of bricks, stones and wood. This bridge was constructed with unique materials and beautifully designed. It was once publicized in People Pictorial.
There is a stone arched bridge named WanĄŻan Bridge, which was built at the same time as Puji Bridge. There was a pavilion at the center of the bridge, so itĄŻs also called Pavilion Bridge.
The tiny and delicate Linlao Bridge was located 50 meters north to WanĄŻan Bridge. Walking southward along City River, you can find Tianwuge Bridge opposite to Tazhihui Bridge. This is the only three-arched bridge in the town. This bridge is symmetrical in structure and elegant in design. The exquisite cultivations in the bridge can be easily visible.
The old bridges in Jinze have drawn attention of bridge experts and won praise from the visitors. ItĄŻs a tourist resort worth visiting in Shanghai.
