The 1st China International Agricultural Product Trade Fair, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and co-sponsored by the State Development Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the Municipal Government of Beijing, and China International Trade Promotion Commission, is a large scale regular international trade fair of agricultural products at the state level. It is held every autumn in Beijing. The trade fair boasts a total area of about 20,000 square meters. The interior exhibition hall, which is over 10,000 square meters, consists of a comprehensive trading section, a trading section for plantation products, and a trading section for breeding and aquicultural products. The exterior of the trade fair is for the exhibition of agricultural machinery.
