China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science & Technology Fair is a grand, large-scale international event integrating exhibition and display, commercial and trade negotiations, sightseeing and tourism. The 5th China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Fair, which takes “Green and Science & Technology” as its theme, will be hosted in Shouguang International Exhibition Center from April 20 to May 7, 2004. The major exhibition area, which covers an area of about 100,000 square meters, consists of 6 exhibition halls (A, B, C, D, E, and F) with more than 1,000 booths. In addition, it has 12 sub-exhibition areas. The exhibition will give a full display of seeds and seedling, vegetables and fruits, processed vegetables, fertilizers and agricultural pesticides, agricultural machinery and agricultural plastic sheeting, etc, featuring a comprehensive exhibition of top brand varieties of rare and special vegetables, melons and fruits, advanced vegetable production science and technology and the development of equipment agriculture, eco-agriculture and sightseeing agriculture. While taking exhibition and display as its core, the Fair attaches equal importance to economic and trade talks, seminars, popularization of science and technology, sightseeing and cultural exchanges. Therefore, it can as well be called a vegetable “aircraft carrier”, a scientific and technological “flagship”, a vegetable “United Nations” and an agricultural grand view garden. The Fair is expected to attract over 5,000 domestic and overseas enterprises and exhibitors to conduct economic and trade talks. We welcome people from all walks of life to participate in the Fair.
