The subsidy criterion for the farmers (farmers planting rice) in Shanghai
 

The subsidy target (Farmers the subsidy addressed to): the rural rice farmers (the farmers planting paddy rice in suburbs)
The subsidy principle: to processing the farms centralizing to the scale economy, the government plans to use the different level subsidy concerning of the produce scale; to establish the trade grain base, the government uses the different level policy concerning of the resource of the counts or districts.
The principle of subsidy: The subsidy is granted at different levels according to different production scales, which is beneficial to the promotion of farmland mass production; the subsidy is governed by a differential policy according to the different financial resources in different districts and counties, which is beneficial to the building of production bases of commodity grain.

The subsidy criterion: for the planting scale which is under 5 mu, the subsidy goes to 60 yuan; 5-15 mu(including 15 mu) . the subsidy goes to 70 yuan;  for the over 15 mu, the subsidy goes to 80 yuan.
The subsidy term: from 2004 to 2006.
The subsidy criteria: RMB60.00 yuan per mu for a planting dimension of less than 5 mu (5 mu included); RMB70.00 yuan per mu for a planting dimension between 5 mu and 15 mu (15 mu included); RMB80.00 per mu for a planting dimension of over 15 mu.
The term of subsidy: effective since 2004 and due in 2006
