Zhejiang agricultural producers eye local market

Agricultural producers from Zhejiang Province will try to grab more market share in the city in the future, the provincial government said yesterday. Though neighboring the city, agricultural products from the province currently control a comparatively low market share. The province's agricultural sales in Shanghai reached 1.5 billion yuan (US$180 million) in 2003, accounting for only 12 percent of the city's total.
