According to related sources, the Spring Festival Joint Exhibition of Agricultural and Sideline Products for 2005 is to be held from 21st to 24th this January. It is estimated that agricultural enterprises from about 70 prefecture-level cities in 22 provinces will participate in the Exhibition.

This exhibition boasts a great variety of products, which include wild kudzu vine powder from Anhui, prawns from Dalian, apples from Gansu, longan and bamboo shoots from Guangxi, black fungus from Yichang, lamb from Ningxia, pears from Shandong, mountain delicacies from Yunnan, torreya grandis fort from Zhejiang, to name just a few. Taiwan Province joined the exhibition last year and this year it will bring to the exhibition Tung Ting Oolong Tea, quality fruits and some other products. Hong Kong is to participate in the exhibition for the first time with Ng Fung Hong Limited offering fresh meat, meat products, salted duck, sausage, quick-frozen food, etc.

52 leading enterprises in Shanghai will participate in the exhibition as a group.
