Shanghai’s Suburb Incurred an Agricultural Loss of RMB35 Million Yuan after Matsa and An Indemnification of RMB5 Million Yuan Will Be Paid to Farmers
 
Affected by the ninth typhoon “Matsa”, the vegetable and fruit plantation bases in the suburbs of Shanghai suffered serious and large-area losses. The preliminary estimation shows that at present the losses amount to about RMB35 million yuan. China’s first shareholding agricultural insurance company will make the biggest ever compensation. According to the relevant official of the company, the compensation is estimated at RMB5 million yuan.
