Shanghai Flower Port’s new flowers exhibition garden, which covers an area of 28 hectares, started to open to the pubic on March 25. Of the over 3 million tulips in over 500 different species in the garden, 50% are new species introduced at the end of last year from Holland. The tulips, narcissuses, hyacinthuses, and other new species of flowers in the garden are all the fruits of Shanghai Flower Port’s effort to introduce, digest, and absorb new flower species, and realize the independent choice of the sources of flower species, scaled production, and management diversification.
