Recently, the first Shanghai Chongming Berry Festival kicked off at the mulberry base in Gangdong, offering city dwellers another desirable tourist destination.

This year, the Chongming Tourism Festival will, for the first time, realize the goal of “having activities all year around”. Apart from the forest flower festival in April and the berry festival in May, the Festival will also host the forest lotus flower festival in June, the forest tourism festival and the forest chrysanthemum exhibition in September and October respectively, and the Chongming orange festival in October and November.
