Distance Education: A New Device for Training “New Farmers”
 

Shanghai is striving to establish a distance farmer education network with the focus on training “new farmers”. So far it has built a distance network consisting of 1 municipal-level distance education center, 10 distance education sub-centers at the district and country levels, and 105 teaching posts at the township level, through which over 90,000 suburban farmers have received specialized training in various fields.
