Families in Shanghai's suburbs have had a disposable income of 5,855 yuan (US$733) per capita for the first half of this year, up 494 yuan, or 9.2 percent from a year before, according to a survey by the National Statistics Bureau's Shanghai research team of 600 local suburban families.
