To resolve the actual problems brought about by the milk cow breeding in Shanghai, Shanghai Dairy Research Institute has selected Shanghai Qinghua Ecological Dairy Farm and Qinong Dairy Farm of Shanghai Dairy Group as experimental bases. Recently, the ceremonies for the establishment of the two bases have been conducted.

Currently, the Institute is making great effort to make technical preparation for the project of “Construction and Industrialization of Shanghai Base for Organic Milk”. Through this project, China’s first organic breeding base for dairy cows and a platform for the processing and sales of organic dairy products will be established.
