Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture, without notification to any provinces and municipalities, asked the third party to conduct a comprehensive examination and assessment of agriculture websites at the provincial (municipal/regional) level all over the country based on “the indicator system for the examination and assessment of agriculture websites at the provincial (municipal/regional) level in China”. This time, the examination and assessment work focuses on five major aspects: information publicity, public service, online work, interaction, and website designing. Shanghai Agriculture website, scoring a total of 81.4, ranks first followed by the agriculture websites of Zhejiang and Beijing.
