“Shengsheng” Returned to the Estuary of the Yangtze River after Recovery
 

After over 150 days of medical treatment, Shengsheng, the huge Chinese sturgeon, finally regained health. Recently, by the Beigang water lane at the estuary of the Yangtze River, a theme project titled “Saving Chinese Sturgeons and Retaining the Eternal Beauty of the Yangtze River” was hosted and the 23-year old fully recovered huge Chinese sturgeon jumped out of the tank into the river. In addition, 150 artificially propagated Chinese sturgeons, aged 7, 3, and 1 respectively, were also returned to nature.
