Vegetable prices have dropped 20 to 30 percent in recent days in the city, thanks to warmer weather, since the end of the Spring Festival holiday.

The wholesale prices of Chinese cabbage and cucumber halved at the Shanghai Agricultural Food Wholesale Market.

Experts say the prices should decrease by a further 20 percent, reaching a low by the end of this month.
