“Shuijing” Pears from Cangqiao Approved to Be “Recommended Fruit for Olympics
 

“Shuijing” pears from Cangqiao stood out in the competition for the selection of “Recommended Fruit for Olympics 2008” and was approved to “enter Beijing” as a recommended fruit for the Beijing Olympics in August. By then, the pear will make its debut in Beijing.

It is learned that only Cangqiao “Shuijing” pears and Malu grapes in Shanghai won the honorable certificate of “Recommended Fruit for Olympics 2008” jointly issued by the China National Forestry Industry Association, China Fruit Circulation Association, Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, and Beijing Fruit Industry Association.
