Co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Sports of Shanghai, and the Municipal Farmers’ Sports Association, the 2007 Farmers’ Lantern Festival Yangge Performance themed “Keeping Pace with the Olympics and Greeting the Sixth Farmers’ Sports Meeting” was recently held in Jinshan District. Farmers’ Yangge teams from 10 districts and county of Shanghai participated in the performance.
